Armalite Rifle

Named for: a Gang Of Four B-side

Is this a trademarked name? I certainly would have gone with a different name if I had any idea my fonts were going to become so popular. Well, it's done. A new variation of the traditional military stencil was drawn out and then taken apart with some Photoshop brushes I had made a few weeks earlier.

I think this was just an excuse to get a triangular A in a stencil font.

Know Your Product

First release: 2004

Named for: a song by The Saints

This one was drawn on paper from cigarette cartons first; the letters were about 2 cm high. Then, I cut them out with a box cutter and used them as actual stencils so that I could scan the resulting characters that were produced.
