Named for: the car driven by Yukari-sensei in Azumanga Daioh

Just an all-lowercase font that I thought might look good within a few inches of a license plate. Probably stemmed from a sketch of the E.

Virgo.01

First release: 2004

Named for: a word beginning with V related to space, as well as the film Capricorn One

Was going for a type of font that seemed to evoke the idea of recreational space travel— the sort of typeface that might be seen on counterfeit NASA gear.

Airstrip Four

First release: 2004

Named for: "Airstrip One" from George Orwell's Nineteen Eightyfour

An attempt to split the difference on capitals and lowercase. The idea at the time was to create a type of font that might be used for handheld communication devices. Missed the mark on that one.

Nyamomobile

First release: 2006

Named for: the implied counterpart to "the Yukarimobile" from Azumanga Daioh

This one could have been in the stencil section. Went for a slimmer, smoother Yukarimobile variant and came out with this. I dotted the I this time, though.

Karmatic Arcade

Named for: a friend who helped out with this one

The plan was to create a standard type of NES font, except outlined and with a bit of a "shadow" to it.

Another one I envisioned as having a 1980's sort of aura about it. Must have been thinking of arcade cabinet marquees or Colecovision.

I don't remember anything about this one. I made Airstrip Four and Virgo.01 with the near-future in mind, but I think this one was closer to the reality instead.
